Anna Mae (Gibbons) “Ann” Bockey

Anna Mae “Ann” (Gibbons) Bockey, 84, of Elizabethtown, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 26, 2016 at the Elizabethtown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  She was born Wednesday, September 2, 1931 in Lancaster County to the late Elder and Bertha (Artz) Gibbons.  She was married to Garland L. Bockey for over 47 years until his death on October 15, 1996.

Ann worked in retail management and held the position of Regional Manager for Motherhood Maternity Shops throughout Pennsylvania.

She will be lovingly missed by her children: Deborah A. Zeise and husband, Michael, of Elizabethtown; Denise R. Hall, of Baltimore, MD; Douglas L. Bockey, of Elizabethtown; Derrick S. Bockey and wife, Joni, of Elizabethtown; 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren as well as Ann’s extended family and caring friends.  She was preceded in death by a sister, Martha J. Roland and a brother, Bill Gibbons.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA  17022, 717-367-1543. Burial will follow in Mount Tunnel Cemetery, Elizabethtown.  There will be a viewing held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1 PM until the time of the service.
