My heart goes out with deepest sympathy to the family of this beautiful young woman. I was so sorry to read about your loss. I know that your grief must be overwhelming, but I do hope that you are able to find comfort in the caring thoughts of friends, the love of your family, and in your sweet memories. May you also find comfort in the assurance that "God is near to those who are brokenhearted and crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18). He is able to give you the strength necessary to endure this difficult time. Please accept my sincere condolences. L. Morgans

Annie stopped in many times over the years to see me at EAHS after she graduated, and I appreciated every single visit and hug. She was such a beautiful and kind soul who could brighten the day of anyone who was lucky enough to be in her presence.
I will greatly miss her quirky smile and infectious laugh during our visits. We definitely were blessed to have Annie in our lives for the brief time she had on Earth. Rest in peace, dear Annie, and know that you will never be forgotten!

Dear Ritsch Family,
Such fond memories have come flooding back of Annie & Kelly during their years at East High! I searched & some pictures of them together. I have sent them to Kelly, who is currently in London doing her MU social work internship. We have talked quite a bit about Annie & she very sorry she cannot be here to celebrate Annie's life. I know they had reconnected in recent months & I enjoyed her friendship, updates & pictures of Frankie & & her positive upbeat attitude on life. Annie was a brace, strong & had so much love in her heart. My pray to you & all the family is that God will comfort you & give you peace. I wish you God's blessings on you all. I know Kelly would like to come & visit with you when she returns home, myself as well. You will be in prayers. Beth.

I'm so lucky to have met Annie. She was an amazing person who touched so many lives. Her dedication to the issues that she was passionate about was admirable. I have watched her grow from a young girl to an incredible advocate for the issues and people she cared about. For the short time I have known her she made a significant impact on not only me but so many others. She will be missed. My deepest sympathies to Deborah and the rest of Annie's friends and family.

We learned of Annie's passing from her obituary which was published in a Google Alert this morning. We are privileged to have met her and were very impressed by her. She didn't let dystonia define her or control her life. Our deepest condolences on your loss. (I forwarded the obituary to Janet Hieshetter.)

Annie was a friend of my daughters in high school. From healing broken hearts or sharing giggles during sleepovers, Annie always made us smile. Annie would stop over after Carlie went to college to check on the rest of us. She would bring flowers or cards & always offered her love & support to our family when we faced one of life's many challenges. She had a beautiful boy, Micah that she loved with every breath! Annie, you will be missed by many & loved by all who knew you. Rest easy sweet girl & know that you touched many lives & hearts while you were here! With love & sympathy, "Mama Leaman". Fly high sweet angel...fly high!
