Dennis E. Hess

Dennis E. Hess, 62, of Mount Joy, passed away on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at home. Born Thursday, April 19, 1956 in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Ira and Grace (Shank) Hess.

A 1976 graduate of Donegal High School, Dennis worked in maintenance for Snavely & Son in Centerville, and also as a cabinet maker for several area businesses. He enjoyed traveling, and drove the length of both Route 30 and Route 66 on his motorcycle and van. He also loved tractors and NASCAR.

Dennis is survived by two sisters: Barbara Ann Hilt and husband Ricky, and Bonnie J. Geltmacher and husband Michael both of Mount Joy; three nieces, one nephew and two great nieces. 

A viewing will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at West Green Tree Church of the Brethren, 740 Green Tree Road, Elizabethtown, PA 17022 from 10:30-11:15 AM. A graveside service will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
