Dennis "Denny" E. Moyer

Dennis E. Moyer, 66, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 11, 2019, surrounded by his loving family at his home in Elizabethtown.  Born Thursday, June 4, 1953, in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Claude E. and Geraldine (Hill) Moyer.  He was married to Linda K. (Spangler) Moyer on May 19, 1973.

He grew up in the family business, Moyer’s Potato Chips, Elizabethtown, with his two brothers.  A member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Elizabethtown, he served the church throughout his life as Organist and Director of Music.  He enjoyed driving and was employed by Feesers Food Distributors as well as Elite Coach.

In addition to his wife of over 46 years, he is survived by three children: Crystal R. Shields, married to Anthony, of Columbia; Melissa K. Hoff, married to John, of Florida and Neil B. Moyer, married to Lindsey, of Willow Street.  Also surviving are four Grandsons.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, October 18, 2019, at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 398 North Locust Street, Elizabethtown, PA  17022, with Pastor John Marcott officiating.  Interment will follow in Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens, Columbia.  There will be a viewing held at the church from 10 AM until the time of the service on Friday.  Arrangements have been entrusted with the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA  17022, 717-367-1543.
