Dennys L. (Long) Conte

Dennys Lorraine (Long) Conte, 67, of Elizabethtown, passed away at Lancaster General Hospital, on Thursday, July 9, 2015 following a lengthy illness.  She was born December 28, 1947 in Lancaster to the late Arnold L. Long and Vesta L. (Bomgardner) Long Kern who resided in Upper Lawn.  She was married to James D. Conte on December 1, 1978.

Dennys was a homemaker for the majority of her life but in her younger years, she worked at Klein Chocolates and Mars Candies, Elizabethtown.  Above all, Dennys will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

In addition to her husband of over 36 years, she will be lovingly missed by her daughters, Beth A. Conte, of Elizabethtown; Becky C. Miller and husband Dan, of State College; two granddaughters, Roslyn and Deborah Miller as well as Dennys’s extended family and caring friends.  She was predeceased by an infant daughter, Grace Marie Conte who died on October 22, 1981.

Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA with Pastor Nelson Bechtold officiating.  Private burial will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to view at the funeral home on Thursday from 6:00 PM until the time of the service.
