Earl E. Grimm

Earl E. Grimm, 75, of Harrisburg died on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Frey Village Retirement Center in Middletown. Born in Elizabethtown, he was the son of the late Maurice and Ruth (Ricker) Grimm. He was married for 23 years to the late T. Frances Grimm who passed away in 2012.

Earl retired from Kinsley Construction. After retirement, he began working as a school bus driver for Hershey School District. He was a lifelong member of Stevens Hill Community Brethren Church. In his free time he enjoyed calling square dancing, competitively playing pinochle, and in his later years learning how to cook. He was a wonderful man who will be remembered for his goofy nature that always kept his family smiling- whether that be making funny faces in photos or trying to ride a grandkid’s skateboard.

He is survived by five children: Kathy McMillen (Dalbert) of Harrisburg, Douglas Grimm of Summerville, SC, William Grimm of Harrisburg, Stephanie Cooper (Brent) of Stanley, NC, and Wendy Reinoehl (Randy, Jr.) of Lebanon; ten grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and sister Gloria Siemon. He was preceded in death by grandson Matthew McMillen, sister Jane Slesser, and brother Grover Grimm.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2PM on Monday, December 5, 2016 at Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home, 130 N. Market St., Elizabethtown, PA 17022, with Pastor Barry Kendall officiating. Burial will be private. A viewing will be held from 1-2PM prior to the service.
