Evan Boyd Querry

Evan Boyd Querry, 74, of Elizabethtown, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Friday, March 17, 2017.  Born Sunday, July 19, 1942 in Calvin, PA, he was the son of the late Hayes L. and Pauline (Cornelius) Querry.

Evan's main love was family, however, his passion for cars was a close second.  He took great pleasure in keeping track of current gas prices along with the current mileage per gallon of the cars he owned.  He also enjoyed walking on nature trails and was passionate about politics.  Evan loved God and although his family misses him, they are also happy knowing there is no more darkness or pain for Evan because he is in Heaven.

Surviving are a son, Gregory A. Querry and wife, Sandy, of Elizabethtown and a daughter, Lisa A. Walker and husband, Jeffrey, of Bainbridge.  Also surviving are four grandchildren; Amanda Book, Brett Walker, Jamie Querry, Brooke Querry and four great-grandchildren; Emma Book, Bella Book, Ava Book and Jasper Rebarick..

A celebration of Evan’s life will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Word of Life Chapel, 139 Wickersham Road, Bainbridge, PA  17502.  Visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of the service on Saturday.  Private burial will be at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements have been entrusted with the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022, 717-367-1543.
