Linda J. (Frey) Lokey

Linda Jane (Frey) Lokey, 76, of Mount Joy passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Lancaster General Hospital.  She was born Monday, April 28, 1941 in Reading to the late Henry Lewis and Helen S. (Swavely) Frey.  She was predeceased by her husband Robert P. Lokey.        

Linda retired from Elizabethtown College in the Dining Services Department.  She was a faithful member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church as well as a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, and the Dela-Ches Fishing Association.  Most importantly she was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, wife, and companion. 

She is survived by a companion, Benjamin Whittington; 3 sons, Jeffery J. Lee (Terri), W. Scott Lee, and Matthew D. Lee (Brenda); 3 step-children, Kim Moore, Steve Lokey (Nancy), and Paul Lokey; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 3 siblings, Dennis Frey, Madlyn Sands, and Barbara Spohn.  She was predeceased by 7 siblings.    

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 11 AM at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 221 S. 2nd St., Steelton 17113 with Rev. Victoria Larson officiating.  A time of visitation will follow the memorial service.  Burial will be private at the convenience of the family in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 N. Market St., Elizabethtown 17022. 

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the American Lung Association, 3001 Old Gettysburg Rd., Camp Hill 17011.
