Shannon I just learned of your fathers passing and I was very saddened by this. He was a wonderful man. He could make you smile and laugh so easy. I wish I could have seen him more after I moved. He will be up there having a party with Eileen. Take care

Blessings and prayers for you and your family. You will always have the memories and that is so important that is why he was your Father, now his time has come to go home to the Almighty Father God of all. He now is resting in the presence of Jesus.Peace over powers darkness and Woody is in the light.Remember all the great times and your heart will mourn no more because what is in your heart can never be taken away .God will wipe away every tear, and all the pain. He will make all things new.

I look at his picture and I can still hear his laugh! I learned quickly not to sit next to him when I was younger or he would grab my knee and tickle me for sure! There is too much to post here....too many memories....too many times he guided me when I needed it. He loved me, he loved my husband and most importantly he loved my kids. I am so happy that I got to see him, touch him and hug him one last time on Easter!! I know he is the life of the party in heaven!!!

Dear Shannon,
Your dad was one of the friendliest and most helpful person I have ever known. Summers in Ocean City will not be the same without him. May you find comfort in good memories.

Everyone that knows Woody knows a person with a heart of good and a soul filled with laughter. He always found ways to bring out the best in others. Even if you didn't feel like smiling, Woody somehow would find a way to reach inside with his kind heart and find a way to bring you cheer. He knew how to care yet was not boastful about his kindness. He also knew how to be compassionate and how to be a friend. Woody's goodness transcends time because his legacy lives on forever in the time he took to create smiles everywhere around him. He will be ever present in the minds of those who love him most and may he always be with his son Shannon and his grandson Kayden in their hearts forever. Woody - ever blessed - always - may your light shine bright. Thanks for all of your kindness.

Because of Woody, I was able to get to know my papou (grandpa) John who passed away before I really got to know him well. Because of the countless times sitting on the deck in Ocean City listening to him tell stories about the adventures that he had with his best friend, I was able to know my papou. Thank you Woody.

Sorry to hear about Woody passing. It is a very upsetting time right now but just remember the jokester he was and you will still have some laughs with him. Love you and thinking of you.
