Maria H. (Klaassen) Morris

Maria H. (Klaassen) Morris, 69, of Bainbridge, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2017 at Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy. Born Friday, September 19, 1947 in Rotterdam, Holland, she was the daughter of the late Jan and Maria (van Aken) Klaassen. She was the wife of Carl V. Morris who passed in September 2012.

Maria was an avid bingo player and enjoyed going to the Hollywood Casino. She loved the beach, but most of all she loved being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by three children: Christine Morris of Mount Joy; John Morris and his wife Julie of Elizabethtown and Keith Morris and his wife Jodie of Bainbridge; three step children: Craig Morris, Tina Morris and Dwayne Morris; thirteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren; a brother Otto Klaassen of Holland and a sister Ruth Peterson of New Jersey.

A time of remembrance will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown at 7:30 PM. Viewing will be from 6:00 PM until the time of service. Interment will take place at the convenience of the family.
