Mary K. (Flory) Estep

Mary K. Estep, 87, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Masonic Village, Elizabethtown.  Born in Colebrook, PA, Mary was the daughter of the late Joseph S. and Mary K. (Foltz) Flory and grew up in the town of Lawn, PA.  She was the wife of William J. Estep and they celebrated 67 years of marriage on May 28, 2016.

Mary graduated from Hershey High School in 1948.  Upon graduation, she worked at the Savoy Shoe Company until marrying Bill.  Mary was a homemaker who enjoyed family gatherings.  She also enjoyed singing in the church choir, traveling to Florida and going out to eat with friends.  Mary was a member of Temple Bible Church, Elizabethtown.

Surviving in addition to her husband are three sons: Dale Estep, husband of Marcia, of Scheafferstown; Steve Estep, of Mount Joy and Randy Estep, husband of Audrey, of Elizabethtown.  She was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Ann (Estep) Eshelman.  Mary held a special place in her heart for her six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Temple Bible Church, 5880 Schoolhouse Road, Elizabethtown, PA  17022, with Pastor Andy C. Hawes officiating.  Burial will follow in the adjoining church cemetery.  A viewing will be held at the church on Tuesday from 10 AM until the time of the service.  Arrangements have been entrusted with the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA  17022, 717-367-1543.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mary’s honor to Temple Bible Church and mailed to the address above.
