Michelle and I were friends.
She was a beautiful, happy, confident, lovable woman!! She was so much fun, she loved to laugh and cheer people up. Such a sparkling personality. Michelle was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside.
I will never forget her and I believe anyone who has met her will not forget effervescent personality.
She loved being a Registered Nurse!! Michelle was the kind of nurse that went above and beyond expectations with expertise, love and care for her patients and her co-workers. She was a confident leader, a gentle mentor and a excellent teacher. Her heart was broken when her health declined to the point she could no longer work as a RN.
Michelle and her husband, Jeff, were deeply in love. They took great care of each other and her son Ben. She always wanted the best for Ben. She knew how gifted he is and had high aspirations for him, She was a devoted wife and mother. And oh how she loved her little dog, Poh , who adored her as well. He gave her companionship and snuggles, especially when she was to ill to be out of bed.
I admired her determination to live her life to the fullest! Nothing seemed to phase her, She loved God, her family, friends and life!!
Her favorite bible verses were Philippians 4:6-7 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition presents your requests to God, and the peace of God, which transcends understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" and Psalms 37:4 "Take delight in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart " Michelle lived these words of God every day!
I love thinking of her now, with with a new healthy body, living in the presence of God! Using her incredible singing voice to sing songs of praise and worship to her Lord and Savior.
Jeff, Ben, family and friends, do not despair, Michelle is not gone. She has just moved to her eternal home and will be waiting patiently for you to join her in the glorious place we call heaven. Where there are no tears, no sadness or pain, only joy, beauty, peace and love.
Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways submit to Him and He will make your paths straight"
My prayers will always be with you, Jeff and Ben ! May God bless you, watch over you, keep you safe and supply all of your needs

The first boss I ever had who believed in me. The first person who truly made me believe I might be good at this whole nursing thing. Michele, you're the sole reason that I believed that I could kick ass as a nurse. Thank you for being you, and for believing in me
