Milton Graham Thompson, 84, of Elizabethtown died on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Masonic Village. Born in Greensburg, PA he was the son of the late Frank Graham and Esther Belle Evans Thompson.  He is predeceased by his loving wife of 56 years, Lois B. Thompson, whom he married on May 29, 1960.

He leaves behind three children, Jennifer Walker and her husband Jeff of Exton, PA; Lisa Angleson and her husband John of Guilderland, NY; and Bradley Thompson and his wife Maria of Avon, CT.  He leaves seven cherished grandchildren Sarah and Matthew Walker; Kevin and Elizabeth Angleson; and Cole, Blake and Christopher Thompson.  He was an uncle to many nieces and nephews. 

He served in the U.S. Navy as a Navy Seabee from December 6, 1955 to September 5, 1957.  A 32nd degree mason, Milton was a member of Lodge #783, F&AM, Export, PA from January 22, 1959.   A member of the International Union of Operating Engineers, he retired after a full career with McKinney Drilling Company.  He was devoted to his family and provided his children and grandchildren strong values and lasting memories.  

 The family would like to thank the staff of the Masonic Village Health Care Center for the expert and compassionate care provided to Milton.

Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00pm and a Memorial Service will follow at 2:00pm on Friday, April 21, 2017 at the Sell Chapel at Masonic Village, 1 Masonic Drive, Elizabethtown, PA 17022, with Reverend Gary George officiating.

A second Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at the Emmanuel Reformed Church of the United Church of Christ at 3618 Hills Church Road Export, PA 15632, with Reverend Joseph Hedden officiating.  Burial will be at Emmanuel Reformed Church following the service.  A reception follows.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 N. Market St., Elizabethtown, PA 17022, 717-367-1543.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in memory of Milt may be made to alz.org, Alzheimer's Association National Office, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 6060.
