My father, the Rev. James A. De Long has conveyed to me news of Mrs. Fetter's passing. I remember very fondly our family visits in my youth to see Pastor and Mrs. Fetter in their beautiful house in the woods....and the delicious chicken casserole with Miracle Whip she made that was such a hit it became a family favorite and can be found under the name of "Mrs. Fetter's Chicken Casserole" in my mother's cookbook. Many apologies that no representative from our family was able to attend the service, but my dad and sister were away and I live in Switzerland. I know my dad and his brother, the Rev. David L. De Long, are part of the church thanks to Pastor and Mrs. Fetter and Pastor Eberle and so I am also grateful that they therefore helped make me who I am as well. Thanks be to God for all the lives He touches through His People here on earth.

Barb and girls. So sorry to hear about Mrs. Fetters. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I will not be comming to the service as my brother-in-laws service is the same day. I know she will be missed by many.

I remember fondly meeting Tess as a little girl at Nawakwa. She was my choir director and always reminded us to be totally quiet as we left the woods headed for Upper Temple. I was thrilled to find her in Etown when I became a member of Christ Lutheran. She was special. Prayers for Barb, Krista, and Andrea and families.

We send our heartfelt sympathy to Tess's family, and we were sad to learn about her death. She lived a long and lovely life and will be sadly missed. We both remember her smile, her infectious laugh and her passion for great music!
