William G. Parry

William George Parry, 84, of Elizabethtown, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at the Masonic Village, Elizabethtown.  He was born Wednesday, September 9, 1931 in Wilkes-Barre to the late William G. and Ruth N. (Williams) Parry.    He was first married to Maureen M. (Finn) Parry for over 40 years.  Following Maureen’s death, he was married Emma M. (Kapp) Parry on June 13, 1998.

A Veteran of the Korean Conflict, Bill proudly served with the U.S. Air Force.  He worked as a truck driver for Ward Trucking for over 37 years.  Bill was also a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Elizabethtown.

In addition to his wife of over 17 years, he will be lovingly missed by three children: William P. Parry, of Mechanicsburg, John W. Parry and wife Shannon, of Middletown, Mary M. Jackubowski and husband Louis, of Lancaster; three step-children, Judy Kiley, of Wilkes-Barre, Velma A. Nickliss, of Annville, Donna M. Decker and husband James, of Elizabethtown; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and one great great grandson as well as Bill’s extended family and caring friends. 

A Committal Service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA with full military honors.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA  17022.
