William M. Reilly, Jr., MD - Age 96

William M. Reilly, Jr. MD, of Elizabethtown, PA, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2015, at his home in the Masonic Village.  Dr. Reilly was born on March 28, 1919, in Pittsburgh, PA.  He attended Perry High School and the University of Pittsburgh where he graduated from medical school.  Dr. Reilly served during World War II in the Army Medical Corps where his service included deployment on the U.S. Hospital Ship Frances Y. Slanger.  He practiced ophthalmology in Washington, PA, until his retirement, and moved to the Masonic Village Elizabethtown in 1997.  His lifetime passions included golf and gardening.

Dr. Reilly is survived by Fae A. Reilly, his wife of sixty-nine years, sons Scott W. Reilly, husband of Jeanne, of Rockville, MD, and Gregg A. Reilly, husband of Judith, of Malvern, PA, four grandchildren, one a great-granddaughter and by a younger brother, Robert R. Reilly, DDS, of Boynton Beach, FL.

A Memorial Service will be held in the Sell Chapel of the Masonic Village, 1 Masonic Dr., Elizabethtown, PA 17022, at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 25, 2015, with Reverend A. Preston Van Deursen officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 N. Market St., Elizabethtown, PA 17022.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Masonic Village Hospice at the address above.
