NANCY J. BECKER
Nancy J. Becker, 85, of Elizabethtown, died on Sunday, July 12, 2009 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in West Donegal Twp., she was the daughter of the late Myrtle Becker Garman. Nancy was a 50 year member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Elizabethtown. A Registered Nurse, she was a 1947 graduate of Lancaster General Hospital School of Nursing. Nancy retired in 1988 from Lancaster General Hospital where she was employed as an Operating Room nurse for 31 years. She also trained in the Cadet Nurse Corps. The last of her immediate family, she was preceded in death by a sister, Alberta Kaylor and two brothers, Calvin and Raymond Garman. Nancy is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2009 at Miller/Sekely Funeral Services, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown at 11:00 AM. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 until the time of service. Interment will take place in Mount Tunnel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane League of Lancaster County, 2195 Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster, PA 17602
