Memorial Service: Saturday, August 22, 2009 at 11:00 AM

DARRELL R. BRUBAKER
Darrell R. Brubaker, 57, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at Hershey Medical Center. Born in Tokyo, Japan, he was the son of the late David and H. Marjorie Green Brubaker and was also preceded in by his biological mother, Hanako Glaze. He was the husband of Patricia M. Basehore Brubaker. They were married for 26 years on August 6th. Darrell was employed by the State of Maryland as a weatherization specialist. He was a graduate of Lebanon Valley College, receiving a Bachelors of Science Degree in Sociology in December 2008. Darrell was an avid Jazz fan. In addition to his wife, Pat, he is survived by a son, Alex D. and a daughter, Annie, both at home; two half-sisters: Valerie Picado and Dorothea Glaze; and four half-brothers: Kenneth, Thomas, Robert and David Glaze. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2009 at Miller/Sekely Funeral Services, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown at 11:00 AM. There will be no viewing. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Saturday from 10:00 until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Cancer Institute at Hershey Medical Center.
