In addition, with the help of local villagers two dispensaries and several houses were erected. In 1960 he and his wife changed the focus of their work to Christian radio broadcasting and they worked for the Far East Broadcasting Co. by writing and producing Biblical studies and musical programs. They continued their work until 1982 when they returned to the United States and lived in Elizabethtown, PA. Allen and Leoda were married for 64 years. She predeceased him in 2000. In addition, he was predeceased by his three sisters and three brothers one of whom was a twin brother. He is survived by his daughter, Joanne B. High, wife of Herbert High; two grandchildren, David A. High (Margaret) and two great grandchildren of Lancaster, PA and a granddaughter, Shana C. High of Falls Church, VA.
