Funeral Service: Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at 11:00 AM


DAVID L. MAUST
David L. Maust, 59, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2009 at Harrisburg Hospital. Born in Bainbridge, he was the son of the late Herbert and Erma (Longenecker) Maust. He was the husband of Gloria L. (Hall) Maust. They were married for four years in October. A Wendy's account manager, David was employed by SYGMA for 18 years. He was a 1969 graduate of Elizabethtown High School and during the Viet Nam Era, served in the US Marines. During the early 1980's David also served in the Air National Guard. He attended the Evangelical Free Church of Hershey. He enjoyed camping and the outdoors, riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and loved riding in his truck. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Paul. David is survived by his wife Gloria, two sons: Josiah D. and Jonathan D. Maust, both of Mount Joy; two step-children: Kristen L. Lumley, Marietta and David L. Barry, Hershey; a grandson, Hunter Eberly; two brothers: John L., husband of Betty Maust, Wing, AL and James L., husband of Millie Maust, Collegeville, PA; and a sister: Miriam L., wife of Leroy Achenbach, Elizabethtown. A Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at the Evangelical Free Church of Hershey, 330 Hilltop Road, Hummelstown at 11:00 AM. Friends may call on Monday evening at Miller/Sekely Funeral Services, Elizabethtown from 6:30-9:00 PM and on Tuesday at the church from 9:30 AM until the time of service. Interment will take place at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: Rising Hope Group, c/o Evangelical Free Church of Hershey, 330 Hilltop Road, Hummelstown, PA 17036.
