LOY I. "SKIP" GUTSHALL
Loy I. "Skip" Gutshall, 78, of Elizabethtown, died at home on Friday, December 18, 2009. Born in Elizabethtown, he was the son of the late Loy L. and Janet (Ierley) Gutshall. He was the husband of Joanne R. (Holecz) Gutshall. They were married for 14 years in October. A 1949 graduate of Elizabethtown High School, Mr. Gutshall served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. A Master Tinsmith, he retired in 1988 from AMP, Inc., Elizabethtown. Skip was an avid sports fan and enjoyed landscaping. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was also a life-member of Conewago Post #329, American Legion, Elizabethtown. In addition to his wife Joanne, he is survived by two step-sons: Robert and Jeffrey Hahn, both of Elizabethtown; three grandchildren: Amber LoPinto, Nicholas Hahn and Allison Hahn; a great granddaughter: Kamryn LoPinto and a sister Lois, wife of Meral Baxter, Hummelstown. Services and interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 610 Community Way, Lancaster, PA 17603.
