Funeral Service: Friday, February 5, 2010 at 11:00 AM


BRUCE R. KEGERIZE
Bruce R. Kegerize, 82, of Elizabethtown, went home to be with the Lord surrounded by his family on Monday, February 1, 2010 at Hershey Medical Center. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Ralph H. and Reva (Smith) Kegerize. He was the husband of Miriam "Mimi"(Underwood) Kegerize of Elizabethtown. They were married for 54 years in September 2009. Bruce was a 1946 graduate of Hershey High School and a graduate of Elizabethtown College. He served in the US Coast Guard during WWII. He retired from the Department of Revenue where he was employed as a District Administrator. Mr. Kegerize was a member and former Elder of Market Square Presbyterian Church, Harrisburg. He was a member of the Elizabethtown Rotary Club and Abraham C. Treichler Lodge # 682 F&AM. Bruce loved talking with people and always enjoyed a good conversation. In addition to his parents, Bruce was preceded in death by his step-mother, Georgie. Surviving are his wife, Miriam, three children: David B., husband of Nancy Kegerize, Denver, PA; Ann U. Gecelosky, Marietta; and Joan K., wife of Alexander Prezioso, New Jersey; six grandchildren: Jonathan, Kristen, wife of Adam Cook, Matthew, Kristina, Nicholas and Michael; and a sister Eve Tober. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 5, 2010 at Market Square Presbyterian Church, 20 South 2nd Street, Harrisburg at 11:00 AM. Friends may call on Friday at the church from 9:30 until the time of service. Interment will take place in Hershey Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Market Square Presbyterian Church, 20 S. 2nd Street, Harrisburg, PA 17101.
