Tom, John, and families! My thoughts--the Bucher Family thoughts and prayers--we send your way in response to your Mother's passing! What a glorious, full, and rich life she lived. . .setting an example "out front" for all of us to follow. Warm memories abound from those experiences she and your Dad and all of you shared with us Buchers throughout the years. We will miss her--certainly--and, yet, our memory of her will continue to teach us ways, now, to move forward on our own. Blessings!

i was privileged to reconnect with Cousin Alma around her 100th birthday. For that occasion I sent a card and note, and was pleasantly surprised to receive a handwritten letter from her in return. The following summer I had a delightful visit with her at Brethren Village. Since I live in Texas I only saw her a few more times. Alma's mind was clear, her memories accurate, and her conversation interesting each time I visited her.

Alma is actually my mother's cousin (Reba Hartman Wine). They kept in contact until my mother's stroke and later her death. Since I had friends living in Elizabethtown, mother would ride up from Virginia with me to visit Alma in the days following my graduation from college. (I've been in Texas for 35 years, so this was long ago.)

I celebrate Alma's wonderful, fully-lived life. I would have loved to visit her once again, but I rejoice that she's gathered with the eternal ones. I pray blessings on you, her family, as you cherish the memories of her life.

I am Chris Espenshade's grandmother and I had the pleasure of meeting GiGi on many occasions over the years.. She was such a beautiful lady and such an interesting woman. To have accomplished all the things in her life time is amazing. few years ago, her grandson Peter and his son Bennett went to take her out for lunch. When they returned Bennett was so impressed, that GiGi knew all about the BROOKLYN
DODGERS baseball team and names a facts. He will never forget it.
To all the family I am sad for your loss, and Tom, my thoughts are with you and all who were so fortunate to share life with this lovely woman. She will be missed.
And she will be remembered by all..

Dear Family Members,
What a pleasure it has been to be of service to our dear Alma!
Never did she miss a General Meeting!
As an association Alma graced us with her presence and was the recipient of
several gits and awards. We all remember that wonderful 100th birthday celebration!
May our dearly beloved,, Alma rest in well-deserved peace. We will celebrate in our

Alma was an inspiration. I only got to know Alma the last three years when I started to volunteer at Brethren Village. I always came a little early so that I could sit and talk with her. She always had a smile and wanted to talk about current events. We both love chocolate and she had four pieces of chocolate for me every week, Dove dark chocolates were her favorite. I will never forget her kindness, generosity, curious mind and sense of humor. I loved it when she would blush at something funny. You will be missed by many Alma.

Mrs Espenshade was a wonderful teacher and taught me to think and use my skills in the 6 Th grade at East High Elementray. What an incredible woman who stood as an example for everyone she touched.
I will never forget her
God Bless

Tom, my condolences to you and your family. Your mother was one to be admired. She was quite the lady-being involved in so many important causes. As we go back a long way, I have many memories of your family. I know the memories you hold close to your heart will help you through this difficult time. May God be with you as you heal.
