Anne always referred to her daughters as "My Girls". When I think of Anne, my mind always says "Preston and Anne". When ever you say Preston, Anne was always with him and now I can think of them united again. Since we also live on Ford Drive, I remember the lovely rose bush outside their cottage and Anne shared some with me. She also brought me her home made doughnuts during Lent. She loved to play cards and she also taught Preston to play Mah Jongg and he would say, "What is the name of this game? " He had won that game. Dear Friends I will really miss Anne and I am sorry that I will not be able to attend her service. I also remember there was a time when Horace and I and one of our children were having lunch at T.J. Rockwell's and Anne and Preston were also there with Becky. Our Love to both of your wonderful daughters. Prudy and Horace Mann.
