Anna M. Lehman, 86, of Hershey, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Columbia Cottage, Palmyra. Born Friday, April 7, 1933 in Hershey, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Alma (Brandt) Lehman.
Anna owned, operated and lived on her family’s farm where she raised beef cattle until she was 81 years old. She attended Life Connection Church in Palmyra and formerly attended Shenks Community Church, Elizabethtown, where she taught Sunday School and Bible School.
She worked as a branch manager for the former Commonwealth National Bank in Elizabethtown and went on to retire from Hershey Foods.
She is survived by her sisters: Mary Kauffman of Kansas; Naoma Engle of Marietta and Grace Engle of Mount Joy. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews as well as Anna’s extended family and caring friends. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Beulah Kanode, J. George Lehman and Luella Jardine.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022, 717-367-1543 with Pastor Andy Hawes officiating. Burial will follow in Shenks Community Church Cemetery, Elizabethtown. There will be a viewing held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 AM until the time of the service.
