Monica attended Cardinal Spellman High School in the Bronx, where she achieved first, National and Regents Honors. While at Spellman, she also met Robert and they immediately fell in love. Together, the young couple spent several wonderful summers with The New York Academy of Sciences, as well as Christian work-study programs held at Syracuse University.
She married Bob in 1987. Together, they moved upstate, eventually decided to raise their three young children in beloved Syracuse, and ultimately settled in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania in 1996. Monica graduated from Elizabethtown College in 2001 and then found employment in their Business office and Library.  Her faith was extremely important to her and she worshiped as a member of Hope Community Church and Grace Point Church.  She was an avid reader and an amazing cook, her specialty was her apple pie. Most importantly Monica was a devoted and loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister.

In addition to her husband she is survived by 3 children who love and adore her, Danielle Stoddard and husband Tim, Kimberly Cisneros, and David Cisneros; a grandson, Ethan P.
