My parents rented an apartment in the same house that Mrs. Bair lived when they were first married, until I and my first sister were born. I would spend summers outside playing with her grandson Willie.
When I was older I worked at the local grocery store and had the opportunity to reconnect a little. She told a mutual friend that I was almost like her granddaughter. She was such a sweet little lady and I always looked forward to seeing her when she came in.
We have since moved from the area and I have been wondering how she was doing.

Iā€™m sorry to hear she has passed but glad she was with her family.

Judy, Pam, Debbie, Vicki It was an honor to be Romaines buddy, we had so much fun together, one day it was an emergency to go get sandtarts at darrenkamps, one day it was traveling from cc insullation, to mc crakens, to st petes in search of the best peanut butter eggs by the dozens. going to hostters for hours and just looking around, getting cheesesteaks and watching football, driving down to the river to sit or going to clean up max's grave, buying redskin hats when she was told NO MORE, I could go on and on, she was my buddy, the stories about Bainbridge and her childhood are unending, i have them all written down I will miss her stories, her sense of humor and watching endless hours of gunsmoke. I loved that woman, I am so sorry she is gone but what a life.
