Dennis L. Shank, Sr.

Dennis L. Shank, Sr., 72, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born Saturday, August 31, 1946 in Elizabethtown, he was the son of the late Norman and Martha (Ebersole) Shank.

Dennis worked for Waste Management and retired from Elizabethtown College, where he worked in the maintenance department. 

He is survived by three sons: Dennis Shank, Jr. and wife Ronda; Kevin Shank and wife Kammy; and Jason Shank and wife Tammy, all of Elizabethtown; six grandchildren, four great grandchildren; a brother Dale Shank and wife Alice of Elizabethtown, and a sister Shirley Shank of Wrightsville.

Dennis was predeceased by brothers Lloyd, Marlin, Ammon and James; and a sister Jan Baker.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 24, 2019 at Goods Mennonite Church, 4374 Bossler Road, Bainbridge, PA 17502 at 10:00 AM. Visitation will follow at a luncheon at the church. Interment will take place in Goods Mennonite Cemetery,
