So sorry for your loss Tina. I didn't know you dad well but I could see he was a kind gentle man. Happy for him in what he has gained and the fact you will see him again! Praying for you and your family through this time.

I will always cherish your ability to make others smile and lead us all a fine example of a Faithful Soul struggling through adversity! I never saw you bitter or complaining through all you had to deal with! I shall remember that as I struggle through my Stage 4 cancer and try to do half as well! Rest well Thou Good and Faithful Servant!

I worked with Ed at E-town College. He was a good guy and had a big heart. He was very proud of his kids and always spoke very highly of them. Their hopes, dreams and success was what he lived his life for. Rest in peace my friend.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Edmund. Edmund will be missed. Having Civil War ancestors he was a seven year member of the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War (SUVCW), General George H. Thomas, Lancaster, PA Camp #19. His muster in date was 26 March 2009. The brothers of the Camp send their sympathy. His Final Muster will be remembered each year at our May Memorial Service.

I worked with Ed in the Public Safety Department at Elizabethtown College in the early 90's when I was a Student Patrol Officer. Ed always had a smile on his face and would always make me laugh. He reminded me of Santa Clause with his jolliness. I'm sorry for your loss. He was a gentle kind soul and will be missed.

Edmund was reunited with his family in Iowa a few years ago by one of our cousin and he made a trip to Iowa to meet us, I was really glad I got to meet him and some of his children at that time. Was sorry they had to return home. My family and I pray God's peace and comfort for his family and my God wrap His loving arms around you and may you feel the presence of His love.

Ed Emery's early support of BSA Troop 53 Fife and Drum Corps was so important to us getting started as a Civil War reenactment group and a Boy Scout band--always helping, towing trailers & transporting scouts to events and camp, etc. Venture Crew 1861 Fife & Drum Corps (as we are now known) sends heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.
