Elwood L. Kingsboro

Elwood L. Kingsboro, 83, passed away peacefully at his home in Elizabethtown on Tuesday, October 30, 2018.  Born May 17, 1935, he was the son of the late Casper and Jane Kingsboro.  He was married to Donna M. (Frecht) Kingsboro on July 4, 1971.

Elwood worked at M&M/Mars, Elizabethtown for nearly twenty years until his retirement in 1989.  He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed going to the beach.  Above all, he will remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.

In addition to his wife of over 47 years, he is survived by two sons: Rick Kingsboro of Elizabethtown and Scott Kingsboro, husband of Autumn, of Maytown.  Also surviving are four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; two brothers, Clifford Kingsboro, husband of Ruby, of Elizabethtown and Kenneth Kingsboro, of Hershey and one sister, Doris, wife of Doug Anspach, of Elizabethtown.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Kingsboro.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Reich’s Evangelical Congregational Church, 338 Stackstown Road, Marietta, PA  17547 with Pastor Dan Blank officiating.  Burial will follow in Maytown Union Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of the service on Tuesday.  Arrangements have been entrusted with the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA  17022, 717-367-1543.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Elwood’s memory to Reich’s Evangelical Congregational Church.
