Emma B. Ebersole, 96, of Manheim, formerly of Lancaster, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at Mount Hope Nazarene Retirement Home, Manheim. Born May 15, 1922 in Ronks, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Ursula (Burkhart) Siegrist. She was the wife of Clarence S. Ebersole who passed away on March 15, 1989. Emma was a support to her husband in spiritual service to many and she found the Lord faithful to her as a widow for 30 years.
Emma was the oldest living member of Petra Church in New Holland. A homemaker, she enjoyed quilting and making wall hangings. She loved gardening and enjoyed working with her plants. Earlier, Emma also volunteered at the Water Street Mission.
Emma is survived by five children: Marian S. Clapper of Lancaster; Naomi E. Brubaker and husband James of Lewisburg; Mildred E. Martin and husband Glenn of York; Nyla E. Martin and husband Darrell of Lancaster and J. Clarence Ebersole and wife Lois of New Holland; 11 grandchildren, two step grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and a sister Mary B. Heistand.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 25 at Petra Church, 565 Airport Road, New Holland, PA 17557 at 11:00 a.m. Viewing will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will take place at Goods Cemetery, Elizabethtown.
