F. Donald (Pop) Mohr

F. Donald (Pop) Mohr, 92, formerly of Marietta, passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 20, 2017.

Born January 23, 1925, he was the son of the late G. Wilbur and Sarah Mohr.

Don served in the U.S. Navy Seabees.  He lived in Marietta for years and enjoyed walking to and spending time along the river. He enjoyed gardening and always had beautiful vegetable and flower gardens.  Don enjoyed spending his summers at his camper in New Jersey, spending time at the bay and by the ocean. He enjoyed trips to Atlantic City visiting the casinos. Don was an avid collector of many things, including model trains and clocks. Pop loved spending time with his family and will deeply missed.

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Joan (Finegan), Stepson Steve Mueller (Madelyn), Grandchildren: Stephen and Robert (Heather) Mueller, Lindsay Gamboa, Meghan Bradbury and Adrienne Mohr. 6 great grandchildren, his brother Harold Mohr, “his girl” Tammy Mohr Dombroski and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son Joseph Mohr, sister Marguarette Gingrich, brothers Wilbert, James, Gene and Herbert Mohr.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, July 27 at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 106 North 2nd Street Bainbridge, PA at 2:00 PM.  Burial will be at Indiantown gap National Cemetery at a later time.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Bainbridge Fire Co., 34 North 2nd Street, Bainbridge, PA 17502 or Conoy Township Summer Play Ground, 211 Falmouth Road, Bainbridge, PA 17502.
