Gladys Mary (Rampton) Cifani

Gladys Mary (Rampton) Cifani, 92, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Masonic Village, Elizabethtown.  Born Wednesday, August 5, 1925 in Colchester, England, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Mary Ann (Whall) Rampton.  She was married to Frank Phillip Cifani for over 57 years until his death on May 1, 2009.

As a nineteen year old war bride, in her new country Gladys poured all her love into making a home for her family.  She was the consummate homemaker showing her love by sewing, knitting, crocheting, painting and cooking and teaching these creative skills to her daughters. 

She will be lovingly missed by three daughters: Jackie H. Page and husband, Earl, of Elizabethtown; Carol A. Kelly and husband, Jack, of Palmyra and Dawn M. Greenwald and husband, David, of New Mexico.  Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 3 step great-grandchildren as well as her extended family and caring friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 17, 2018 in Sell Chapel at Masonic Village, One Masonic Drive, Elizabethtown, PA  17022, with Chaplain Timothy A. Nickel officiating.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with the family from 12:30 pm until the time of the service on Saturday.  Private interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Gladys’s honor to Masonic Village Hospice, One Masonic Drive, Elizabethtown, PA  17022.
