Helen Stanley Obituary
Helen C. Stanley, 97, of Mount Joy, PA, formerly of Barberton, OH, passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Juniper Village in Mount Joy. Born Sunday, December 12, 1920 in Stewartsville, OH, she was the daughter of the late Francisco and Albina (Bartolomucci) Da Roma. She was the wife of Everett Eugene “Gene” Stanley who passed away on January 27, 2006.
A bookkeeper for Babcock & Wilcox, she was also a skilled seamstress who made draperies for Marshall’s Department Store in Barberton. Helen was also an excellent cook, and most of all loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by a son Robert E. Stanley and wife Kathy of Elizabethtown, PA; six grandchildren: Stacey, Melissa, Kristy, Katcha, Kari and John Henry; 12 great grandchildren and a sister Phyllis Zvonek of Detroit, MI. Helen was predeceased by a daughter Patricia Jean Mobley.
