My thoughts and prayers to Betty and John. I'm so sorry for your loss. John was always friendly to me and I appreciate his service to the fire department and our country.
I'm sorry I didn't see this sooner, I would've attended his service.

We met John and Betty at the Mount Joy VFW. Didn't take long to become friends with both of them (extra nice and caring people)!! GOOD MEMORIES... Janis and I offer our most sincere condolences to Betty and the family. Betty, I read your comments in this guest book and you are right, John is in a "BETTER PLACE" where there is NO SUFFERING...and someday you two will be TOGETHER AGAIN!!
RIP JOHN

My best wishes and prayers go out to John's family in the weeks and months to come. As a brother firefighter I always respected his knowledge and skills on the fire ground! He was a go to firefighter willing to go that extra mile for his fellow brothers and the needs of the community! Bringing a sense of humor with his abilities was always a relief and welcome. Until we meet again thank you for your service and friendship. God Speed! Former Fire Chief Station 74

Rip uncle John what I will remember the most about you is coming out swimming to the house back in the day and how nan would get you to come visit her she would tell you she was making liver and onions and you would be there. LOVE YOU watch over us with pap,nan and Richard until we meet again rest in peace

I will miss you so much. A big piece of my heart is empty. There are way too many good memories to share and I smile every day when I think of them. I will try to fill the emptiness with all of them. Every tear that falls is for the love a sister has for her brother. Everyday I will look up and say I love you and miss you John.
