John L. Weaver

John L. Weaver, 87, of Landis Homes and formerly of Mount Joy, passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Landis Homes, Lititz.  He was born December 14, 1930 to the late Mearl and Minerva (Garber) Weaver.  He was married to Ruth Arlene (Longenecker) Weaver for over 61 years until her death on March 31, 2014.

Mr. Weaver was a member of Bossler Mennonite Church, Elizabethtown.

Surviving are three daughters, Jean Minnich Harnish (Jerry), of Bainbridge, Joyce Arlene Hess (Richard), of Elizabethtown and Rachel Weaver Tann (Eugene), of East Petersburg.  Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a brother, Roy A. Weaver, of Lititz.  He was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul and Harry Weaver.

A funeral service will be held at 3 PM on Friday, April 20, 2018 at Bossler Mennonite Church, 2021 Bossler Road, Elizabethtown, PA  17022.  Burial will follow in the adjoining church cemetery.  There will be a viewing held at the church on Friday from 2 PM until the time of the service.  Arrangements have been entrusted with the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA  17022, 717-367-1543.
