Laura Richter was one of my first friends at the Masonic Village. I had the privilege of visiting with her and traveling her final journey through many visits, many of which included our children. It was through this association that I befriended Mr. Jules Richter, the love of Laura's life.
Mr. Richter would become a special person to our whole family. He became a grandfather figure to our children. Boy Scouting and DeMolay were our shared interests.
Mr. Richter attended our Eagle Scout and Master Councilor ceremonies encouraging our boys every step of the way. When my husband, Joe , travelled Mr. Richter was willing to step up to the plate and provide his grandfatherly pride when the kids had school performances or activities.
Our children Nick, Joshua, and Chantelle have all been blessed by their relationship with
Mr Richter and his bride Laura.
Joe and I will keep Jules in our prayers as we have Laura since her passing.
Joe, Nick and I visited with Jules this past month and let him know what a loving influence he was for all of us.
Our warm thoughts go to the family as you gather to share and celebrate Jules' life.
