Kathryn Carol (Cunningham) Williams

Kathryn Carol (Cunningham) Williams, 80, of West Covina, CA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at Carolyn’s House, Harrisburg.  Born Saturday, December 25, 1937 in Canton, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mabel (Johnson) Cunningham.

Kathryn, was an avid traveler, taking cross country trips both by automobile and flight. Kathryn always had a love of animals and spent her time trying to help rescue and find a home for abandoned cats and dogs. Kathryn loved taking her dogs on walks to her favorite park. Kathryn proudly spent 12 years volunteering for Citrus Valley Hospice in Covina, CA. Kathryn enjoyed reading and doing word searches. Kathryn also enjoyed dancing including Scottish country dancing and square dancing.

She will be lovingly missed by two children: Tamara N. “Tammy” Perry, of Elizabethtown and Byron T. Williams and wife, Angela, of Ellettsville, IN, and sister Margaret Pace of Laverne, CA. Also surviving are grandchildren: Josh and wife Thera, Frank and wife Hope, Jamie and husband Chris, Paige and husband Derik, Abigail and husband Kevin, Kennedy and husband Brandon, and 5 great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Kathryn’s Life will be held at a later date and time, including one in California, and one in Michigan, on March 17, 2018 with her family, and her son, Byron T. Williams officiating. Private interment will be at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements have been entrusted with the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA  17022, 717-367-1543.
