Keaton P. Kershner

Keaton P. Kershner, the loving 5-year-old son of Nathan A. Kershner and Emily S. Franze, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at the Penn State Children’s Hospital, Hershey, surrounded by his loving family.

Keaton was born on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Women and Babies Hospital, Lancaster and brought so much joy and happiness to his entire family.  He will be remembered for his contagious smile and laughter as well as his love for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Paw Patrol and various sports, especially football.  He also had an appreciation for fire trucks and dreamed of one day becoming a firefighter, just like his daddy.

He is survived by his father, Nathan A. Kershner and fiancé, Danielle Palmeri, of Marietta as well as his mother, Emily S. Franze and boyfriend, Timothy Kershner, Jr., of Maytown.  Also surviving are his siblings and cousins; grandparents, Barry and Sherri Geib of Mount Joy, Timothy Kershner, Sr. of Elizabethtown, William and Diana McClellan of East Petersburg, Bruce Franze and Cindy Banzhof of Elizabethtown and Michael and Kathryn Palmeri of Brick, New Jersey as well as Keaton’s extended family and numerous friends.

Funeral Services will be held at Noon on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA  17022, 717-367-1543.  Burial will follow in Mount Tunnel Cemetery, Elizabethtown.  There will be a viewing held at the funeral home from 10 AM until the time of the service on Saturday.
