Larry David Barron

Larry D. Barron, 76, of Elizabethtown passed away peacefully with family by his side on Friday, October 13, 2017 in Middletown. He was born Friday, August 1, 1941 to the late Sheldon A. Barron and Arlene R. (Beers) Barron.  He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Carolyn Barron.

He was retired from the AMP Corporation after 25 years of work.  He enjoyed his model airplanes and garden as well as being very active with the Elizabethtown First Church of God, as a greeter and a member of the choir.  Most importantly he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, who cherished his time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by a daughter, Diane Kridler and husband Dan; 2 grandsons, Zachary and Dylan Kridler; a brother, Gene Barron and wife Brenda; and 2 sisters, Nancy Whitsel and husband Howard and Virginia Newman.

Memorial Services will be held Thursday, October 26th at 2 PM at Elizabethtown First Church of God, 144 S. Market St., Elizabethtown with Pastor Dan Gilbert and Pastor David Robinson officiating.   Burial will follow with full military honors in Mount Tunnel Cemetery, Elizabethtown. Family and friends are invited for a time of visitation from 1 PM until time of service.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 N. Market St., Elizabethtown, PA 17022.
