Michael H. Zeise, 70 of Elizabethtown, passed away on Monday, September 3, 2018 at the VA Medical Center in Lebanon. Born Monday, June 14, 1948 in Wadena, MN, he was the son of the late Harold and Mildred Zeise. He was married 44years to Deborah A. (Bockey) Zeise.
Mike graduated in 1966 from Deer Creek High School in Deer Creek, MN. He graduated from Alexandria Area Technical School in 1968 and enlisted in the US Navy, serving in Vietnam until 1970. In 1972 he graduated from Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa, OK. Mike worked in the Nuclear Power Industry for 44 years at power plants throughout the United States. He was involved in Quality Assurance/Control and Inspection. He retired from First Energy at Three Mile Island.
Mike enjoyed entertaining family and friends at the family’s “mountain home” in Bedford County. Holidays, skiing, fishing, campfires and good times were had by all. He was always up for the challenge of a remodeling job, and did a “flawless” job. He was an avid enthusiast of Jazz and Jazz Fusion. He had an extensive collection of music, collected over 50 years. Mike will be dearly missed.
In addition to his wife Deborah, he is survived by a daughter Tanya C. Zeise of Elizabethtown; a granddaughter Zoey N. Noble of Elizabethtown; three sisters: Jeanne Ewy of Deer Creek, MN; Linda Arnesen of Winona, MN and June Braith of Delano, MN, and a brother Larry Zeise of Mt. Vernon, WA.
A graveside service and interment with Military Honors will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville at the convenience of the family.
