Philip Flohr, 92, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at ManorCare, Elizabethtown. Born Thursday, March 11, 1926 in Kane, Wyoming, he was the son of the late William and Amelia (Dupper) Flohr. He would have been married 70 years to Geraldine (Fitzwater) Flohr this July 25th.
Philip was retired from US Steel Fairless Works in Bucks County. He was a US Navy veteran of WWII. Philip was a hard worker and loved his family.
In addition to his wife, Geraldine, he is survived by a daughter Phyllis F. Otto and husband Clifford of Manchester, NH; a son William R. Flohr and wife Wendy of Levittown; three grandsons: William R., Jr., Christopher and Sean Flohr; a step-grandson Paul Storms; and three great grandchildren: Christopher, Daxton and Zander.
Philip was predeceased by seven siblings.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 8, 2018 at Christ Church United Church of Christ, 247 South Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
