William T. Dimeler

William T. Dimeler, 89, of Elizabethtown passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Masonic Village, Elizabethtown. Born Saturday, March 23, 1929 in Elizabethtown, he was the son of the late George and Catherine (Sweigart) Dimeler. He was married 57 years to Kay L. (Jones) Dimeler.

Bill was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Elizabethtown for over 50 years. He worked as a mechanic for Garber Motors and retired as a salesman from Bill Miller Ford in 1991. Bill was a member of Abraham C. Treichler Lodge #682, F&AM, Elizabethtown and the VFW. He also enjoyed hunting and bowling.

In addition to his wife Kay, he is survived by three daughters: Pamela J. Shearer (Steven) of Bainbridge; Lisa K. Hawkins (Nathaniel) of Palmyra; Tracy W. Miller (Cory) of Middletown and seven grandchildren: Brooke, Kyle, Keith, Nathan, Caleb, Garrett and Sam.

Bill was predeceased by a great grandson Blake Shearer and was the last of his siblings.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 398 North Locust Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022 at 11:00 AM. Viewing will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment will take place in Goods Cemetery, Elizabethtown.
