Anna Jean (Lentz) Dorwart

Anna Jean (Lentz) Dorwart, 89, of Elizabethtown, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 14, 2021, surrounded by her loving family at her home in Conewago Township.  Born Monday, April 6, 1931, in Conewago Township, she was the daughter of the late Lester Shope Lentz and Elva Mae (Gantz) Lentz.  She was married to Ray E. Dorwart for over 37 years until his death on June 23, 1994.

Anna Jean was a member of White Oak Church, Manheim and was a sales representative for Shaklee for over 50 years.  She loved talking to people and making connections and will be remembered for her big heart and her generosity.

She is survived by three children: Rebecca Weis, married to Wayne, Rachel Gage, married to Wells and Mark Dorwart, married to Stacy.  Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren and 5 step-great grandchildren, as well as Anna Jean’s extended family and caring friends.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA  17022, 717-367-1543.
