Donald Firestone Obituary

Donald E. Firestone, of Palmyra, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 22, 2022 at the age of 86. Born October 13, 1935 in the Hershey, he was the son of the late Charles Firestone and Lena (Meyerhoffer) Firestone.

Donald served in the US Navy from 1954 to 1958 and was on a ship that traveled to Korea to bring back wounded US soldiers. He spent most of his service in Puerto Rico which is where he met and married his wife Dolores, known as Lola.

He spent his working career as vice president in customer relations for a vending and food service company. In his free time he enjoyed watching sports and going out to eat with his family.
