Frederick Hull Schaeffer

Frederick Hull Schaeffer, 94, of Elizabethtown, and formerly of Warren, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at Masonic Village, Elizabethtown.  Born on Sunday, September 4, 1927, in Warren, PA, he was the son of the late Frederick M. and Lena B. (Hull) Schaeffer.  He was married to Lois A. (Holcomb) Schaeffer on August 27, 1949.

A Veteran, Frederick proudly served with the U.S. Navy during WWII.  

In addition to his wife of over 72 years, he is survived by a son, Daniel L. Schaeffer, married to Marjorie, of Gates, NC, as well Frederick’s extended family and caring friends.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two children: Jane C. Epson and Mark F. Schaeffer.  

Services will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, in Sell Chapel at Masonic Village, One Masonic Drive, Elizabethtown, PA  17022 with the Reverend Paul Hansen officiating.  A Masonic Service will begin promptly at 2 PM with the memorial service following .  Private interment will take place at the convenience of the family in Pine Grove Cemetery, Russell, PA.  Arrangements have been entrusted with the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA  17022, 717-367-1543.
