Harry B. Lamb, 94, of Elizabethtown, formerly of Philadelphia, passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at the Masonic Village, Elizabethtown. Born Tuesday, August 10, 1926 in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late David Lamb and Nellie (Pinker) Evans. He was married 58 years to Jean (Clemmer) Lamb who also resides at Masonic Village.
Harry was a US Navy veteran of WWII, who was in demolitions at the Invasion of Normandy and was soon shipped off to the Pacific. He was a member and Past Master of Frankford Lodge # 292, F&AM, Philadelphia. Harry retired from his job as an elevator inspector for the state of Pennsylvania in 1988. He and Jean enjoyed traveling in their RV across the United States. He was an avid history buff and collected American and British military insignia. He and Jean had belonged to the Frankford Historical Society and GAR Museum & Library in Frankford before moving to Elizabethtown, as well as similar societies previously.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters: Barbara Ewing and husband Fred(deceased), Virginia Kramer and husband Arthur(deceased), Nancy Nisula and husband Joseph; four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
Service and interment will be held at a later date.
