Jared M. Kiess
Obituary
Jared M. Kiess, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023, at the age of 22. Born October 4, 2000 in the Lancaster Area. He is the son of Ronald & the late Leslie (Newman) Kiess.
After graduating High School, he worked as a welder and then went forward with earning an associates degree. Jared was real “go getter” who truly enjoyed the outdoors. In his free-time you could catch him working on anything with an engine especially his big red Ford, hunting, four-wheeling, and hiking.
Jared is survived by his brother: Cody Kiess; Grandmothers: Dona (Yegle) Newman and Arlene Kiess; and his friends who were always by his side: Matthew Hoffer, Jordan Minick, Zach Snyder, Blaike Kessler, and Zev Stark.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in memory of Jared may be made to the American Cancer Society. American Cancer Society. P.O. Box 6704 Hagerstown, MD 21741.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
