Kelsey Paige Sheilds

Kelsey Paige Sheilds, 26 of Elizabethtown, formerly of Maytown, PA and Tabernacle, NJ, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2020. Born Friday, February 11, 1994 in Abington, PA, she was the daughter John (Jack) L. and Constance L. (Montgomery) Sheilds of Maytown.

Kelsey, who always considered herself a Jersey girl, worked as a server for P.J. Whelihan’s in Lancaster. She loved to plan parties, cook (especially with garlic), knit and do puzzles. She was also fearless, and enjoyed going to concerts, but most of all loved spending time with her family and dogs, Maizie and Kahlua.

In addition to her parents, she will be lovingly missed by her sisters: Brittany N. Mowrer and husband Ethan, and Taylor A. Sheilds and fiance’ Richard Maurer; maternal grandfather Thomas Montgomery, paternal grandmother Pearl Sheilds, aunts, uncles, cousins and her beloved partner Ricky Altamirano. She was also an amazing aunt to Dawson Sheilds and Brielle Mowrer.

Kelsey was predeceased by her Baby Boy Altamirano; maternal grandmother Arlene Montgomery and paternal grandfather Walter Sheilds.

A celebration of Kelsey’s life will be held on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 398 North Locust Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022 at 12:00 PM. Visitation with family will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment will take place in Maytown Union Cemetery, Maytown.
