Leonard James Bashore

Leonard James Bashore, 93, of Palmyra, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Stoneridge Retirement Living Community in Myerstown.  He was born Friday, May 16, 1928 in Hershey to the late Robert and Gladys (Lavine) Bashore.  He is survived by his loving wife, Gloria Maxine (Herr) Bashore.

He graduated from Palmyra High School, honorably served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War, and worked at TRW.  He was a member of Brownstone Lodge No. 666 F&AM of PA and was a 32nd degree Mason.  He loved his family dearly and will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by three sons, Doug Bashore and wife Marilyn of Lititz, Kevin Bashore and wife Colleen of Palmyra, and Scott Bashore and wife Julie of the Poconos; one brother, Dr. Robert Bashore of Elizabethtown; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He was predeceased by a brother, Dr. Sidney Bashore.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
